Physical & Psychological Signs of Stress in Men

Many people face mental health issues at some point in their lives and they can affect people in different ways. Statistics show that for Australian males aged 18-65, nearly 1 in 2 have experienced a mental health problem, with males experiencing over 3 times the rate of suicide as females (AIHW, 2017).

While many factors can negatively impact on men’s mental and emotional wellbeing, understanding what triggers stress, how it affects the body and what help is available, are of key importance to supporting male health.

The Holland Clinic want the men out there to know that we are here to support you. We have extensive experience in supporting patients with mental health and mood disorders, including: anxiety, depression, insomnia, sleep disturbances, stress and exhaustion.
